PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Touching the Lines Sports was established August 1, 2016. TTLS is a non-profit community based program with Limited Liability Company (LLC) status. With the recent issues of today’s society it is imperative that we return to foundational principles in correcting unwanted behavior. We must turn our attentions back to teaching our youth proper societal etiquettes. At some point in the evolution of society, the principles of good character became “old fashion”, however the impact of this ideology has created turmoil in our communities. Great character traits are the “X Factors” of success in life. TTLS will be a tool to provide foundational principles that will guide our community towards change.

The founder of TTLS is Courtney Pritchett, Ed.D. Making an impact on his community has been a strong driving factor for Courtney Pritchett’s success. He has dedicated his life to guiding youth development and improving his community. With a doctorate degree in educational leadership, Courtney has developed several community based programs that have impacted tons of youth. As a college basketball coach, he has also helped young adults achieve success at the collegiate level and beyond.

In April 2016 Courtney Pritchett was named as Andrew College's new head women's basketball coach. Pritchett arrives on College Street following a season as assistant coach at Tuskegee University. No stranger to the National Junior College Athletic Association, Georgia College Athletic Association or Region XVII, Pritchett previously served as the lead assistant at Darton State College in Albany, Ga. During Pritchett's time Darton State soared to great heights of consecutive nationally rankings and a 55-9 overall mark. With Pritchett on the sidelines the Cavaliers excelled on the court with two junior college all Americans, two NCAA Division I, 10 NCAA Division II and one NCAA Division III signees.
